Bilby’s Active Games
Welcome to our playground games! To ensure a safe, organised, and fun environment for all children aged 5–12, please review our core operational policies below.

Duty of Care & Parent Attendance
Bilby’s Active Games provides an instructional sports and games service led by a solo instructor. It is not a drop-off childcare service or day-camp.
Parents/guardians must remain within the designated park area for the duration of the session. You maintain ultimate legal responsibility for your child, including bathroom breaks and medical emergencies.

Sun Safety & Inclusivity
All participating children must wear a hat. If a child forgets theirs, a clean, sanitised loan hat will be provided by the instructor for the session.
Parents are responsible for applying sunscreen before the session. It is recommended that children bring a water bottle.
Our instructors hold blue cards and current first aid certificates. We supply extra sunscreen, hand sanitiser, and a first aid kit.
If your child is sensitive to physical contact or has texture/sensory preferences, the instructor provides clean cotton gloves so they can fully participate in hand-holding games comfortably. Please contact us in advance if your child has any additional needs.

Volatile Weather & Cancellations
For the safety of the children, sessions do not run on wet, slippery grass or during active rain. Windy or excessively hot conditions are also unsafe, and sessions will be cancelled if these are likely.

For afternoon sessions, we will make a final safety call and notify all registered parents via email by 11:00 AM on the day. If you haven't received an email and are unsure, please call us to confirm. If you receive a wet weather notice, a full session credit will be applied to your account.

If your plans change, please notify us via email or phone call at least 24 hours prior to the session to receive a credit to reschedule. No-shows or late cancellations may not be refunded. Please contact us directly for late cancellations or if you require a refund.

Behaviour & Code of Conduct
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for bullying, physical aggression, or intentional exclusion of other children.
If a child behaves in a way that risks their safety or the safety of others, the instructor will pause the game and return the child to their parent on the sidelines.
